been time since i wrote a poem...and a long time since i posted one on networking sites..
the past few days i have been idle..with no tasks at hand..so i tried my hand at writing...yet again..
the topic well..was an interesting one...
the poem is about a lover who dreams of falling in love with a very beautiful girl...and knows that cannot be possible..this poem is about his thoughts of finding his love..though its just a dream..






How Do I Love Thee..




How do I love thee who'll never be mine
To even think of you may be a waste of time
You dazzling beauty hath enslaved my soul
For my heart and mind are beyond control


'Tis you, not the sun that lightens my day
For you be a queen among the buds of May
Not a flower in the land to match thy grace
Eternity may pass if I look at thine face


What is a man if he hath not love
To its power even, the king doth bow
I'll make a wish upon a shining star
A star that shines bright, bright as you are


I'll build a kingdom for us to rule
You'll be mine queen and I your fool
For I'm fooling my self dreaming of you
An endless dream that'll never come true
